Select Board · Meeting of June 17, 2026
West Boylston's Select Board leaned toward bonding roughly $1.25 million to fix aging sewer infrastructure, including 131 town-maintained grinder pumps. An engineer from Weston & Sampson told the three-member board, later joined by Barur Rajeshkumar, that deferred repairs include $900,000 in pump station work and $110,000 in valve replacement. Clerk Michael T.
Connors said he would be "adamantly against transferring the maintenance" to current homeowners. The board reached consensus to draw down $150,000 from the sewer privilege fund and pursue a Green Communities grant worth up to $250,000. Resident Pete Murphy said the town's new per-container trash fee raised his annual cost from $52 to $1,404.
The board also continued a Humboldt Masters LLC host-community-agreement dispute to July 15 and, after executive session, took up ratifying Cheryl St. Louis as treasurer collector for a three-year term starting July 1, 2026.
